Professor Patrick Lin, Director of the Ethics and Emerging Sciences Group and associate philosophy professor at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, discusses key ethical, legal, and policy challenges in cyberwarfare.
 
Can hacking be an act of war? This talk will address key ethical, legal, and policy challenges in cyberwarfare–an increasing worry for a wired society. We will also look at the curious absence of cyber in the debates about autonomous weapons systems, from the US Dept. of Defense here at home to the United Nations globally.
