Santa Clara Law was highlighted in a recent edition of Legal Dive, a leading publication in the field of in-house counsel, for its outstanding technical industry training.
As a part of its focus on how law schools are preparing students for various in-house careers, Legal Dive highlighted four schools for their opportunities in legal externships and counsel from legal department leaders. Among other stand-out initiatives, Santa Clara Law was featured for its Tech Edge J.D. program. In the words of Laura Norris, Tech Edge J.D. program faculty director: “The program is about graduating from law school with a set of experiences that would be on your resume saying that you have acquired certain skills that would be relevant to a career in technology law.”
Santa Clara Law was also featured for its student organizations. The article highlights many of Santa Clara Law’s student groups which arrange events where students can talk openly with in-house lawyers.
