The university maintains a secure site for ONLINE GIVING
The online giving form contains drop-down menus that allow you to designate the area to which your gift should be directed; you can even split the gift to support more than one area of the law school or university. Of course, you are not limited to just the areas listed on the form; you may designate your gift to any scholarship, program, or fund you wish. Our tax ID number is 94-1156617. Please contact us at (408) 551-1748 if you have any questions about gift designations.
CHECK BY MAIL
Personal or corporate checks should be made payable to Santa Clara University – School of Law, and mailed to Santa Clara Law at the following address:
Santa Clara University School of Law
Alumni Relations & Development
500 El Camino Real
Santa Clara, CA 95053-0445
If you wish to designate your gift to a particular program or scholarship, please indicate the designation with your check.
The university accepts Visa, American Express, Discover and MasterCard. Many of our donors set-up pledges that automatically debit their credit card and saves the hassle of sending in pledge forms. Donors can also receive the added bonus of frequent flyer miles, or other credit card incentives. You may use your credit card from the Online giving page, or contact us to set up a pledge
The university does accept securities as gifts, and there may be some tax advantages for the donor as well. To make your gift of stock to Santa Clara, please download and complete this form.
Santa Clara Law offers a variety of scholarships to incoming and continuing students, thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends who have established these funds over the years. For information on establishing a scholarship, please contact the Office of Development: Karen Bernosky, Senior Director of Development – (408) 551-1749
Please take a moment to read a brief history of each scholarship and its namesake. Many of these individuals created lasting legacies whose stories continue to impact our community.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please visit the University website for further information on employer participation and matching gift instructions.
If you are interested in a planned gift, trust, or estate gift, please contact us. The university has an excellent, experienced planned giving specialist that can help you through the process and answer any questions that you may have.
