Santa Clara Law faculty were recognized for their achievements at this year’s university-wide Faculty Awards Ceremony for their innovative curriculum, sustained and continuing excellence in teaching, and their interdisciplinary work to advance justice.
Professors Eric Goldman and Laura Norris (pictured above) received the Brutocao Family Foundation Award for 
Curriculum Innovation for their development of both the Tech Edge J.D. and the Privacy Certificate. Professor David Sloss (pictured left) received the University Award for Sustained Excellence in Scholarship in recognition of his monumental work in the field of international law and justice. Professor David Ball received recognition for his influential and collaborative cross-disciplinary work in addressing racial disparities in the criminal justice system. His recognized work, “Proving Actionable Racial Disparity Under the California Racial Justice Act,” was previously published in the UC Law SF Journal. Professor Phil Jimenez was also commended for fifty years of service to the university.
