California Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. announced the appointment of three individuals to the Santa Clara County Superior Court, including Santa Clara Law alumnus Eric. S. Geffon ’95. Mr. Geffon, 44, of Los Altos, has been an owner at Geffon and Isger since 2001. He served as a deputy public defender at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office from 1996 to 2001.

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the appointment of Eric S. Geffon, Roberta S. Hayashi and Cynthia C. Lie to judgeships in the Santa Clara County Superior Court.

Geffon, 44, of Los Altos, has been an owner at Geffon and Isger since 2001. He served as a deputy public defender at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office from 1996 to 2001. Geffon earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Sacramento. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Thomas W. Cain. Geffon is a Democrat.
