On January 27, 2012, the Santa Clara Computer and High Technology Law Journal held its annual Symposium. Over 200 people, including practitioners, students from at least three schools, and speakers, attended the event. The Symposium addressed issues related to international Intellectual property law. The four panels discussed the following topics: international patent harmonization, global effects of non-practicing entities, Chinese IP, and comparative e-privacy regimes.
 

The event was sponsored by Samsung, and Kenneth Korea , the Vice President of Samsung Electronics, U.S. R&D Center, San Jose Intellectual Property Office was the keynote speaker.
