Gladstone is an independent, non-profit biomedical research foundation affiliated with UCSF. Gladstone is seeking a summer patent law clerk.
The patent law clerk will assist with ongoing patent prosecution of Gladstone Inventions, track status of U.S. and foreign patent filings, draft technology summaries, follow-up with scientist inventors on substantive patent issues and assist IP department with other tasks, as needed.
Candidates with a Bachelor degree in biological science and at least one year of law school with completion of a course in patent law are desirable.
