UW CASRIP is looking for students who will serve as teaching assistants for foreign patent lawyers who will participate in the CASRIP Summer Institute http://www.law.washington.edu/Casrip/Institute/ . We would appreciate your recommendation of students who want to spend three weeks in Seattle learning US and foreign patent law and working with foreign patent lawyers.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing for and attending all classes and then meeting with a pre-assigned group of international participants to instruct them on the day’s material and answer questions
- Preparing the official notes for 3-4 lectures
- Assisting your group with information for getting to/from social events
- Assisting with miscellaneous tasks for the Summer Institute and the High Technology Summit (e.g., greeting participants, setting out lunches, handing out conference materials etc…)

- A $500 stipend plus $500 travel expense support (students who live outside Washington State)
