Santa Clara Law’s Honors Moot Court External (HMCE) team, Christopher Creech and Jacob Vigil, won first place in the Western Regional Rounds of the 21st Annual Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition, and went on to compete in National Final Rounds in Washington D.C., finishing up fourth in a field of eight final teams! They were coached by Jeremiah Armstrong from McDermott, Will & Emery in Menlo Park.

Santa Clara Law’s HMCE Team, Johanna Jacob and Andre Krammer, won Best Appellee Brief and Best Oral Argument at the Western Regional 2012 Giles Rich Moot Court Competition, which focuses on intellectual property law. The Santa Clara Law team was coached by McDermott, Will and Emory partner, Fabio Marino.
