In 2010, the high tech faculty created a new academic honor, the "High Tech Excellence Award," to recognize excellent academic performance in the high tech curriculum. The high tech faculty has modified the standards for the High Tech Excellence Award starting Fall 2012.  The new policy:

Students (including JD and LLM students) who earn an A- or better in three or more High Tech Law Certificate-designated courses in a single academic year (fall to summer) will earn the award for that academic year. Students may earn the award only once per academic year.

Students do not need to apply for the honor; we automatically identify students who have earned the honor and notify them by email a couple months after the semester/session they satisfied the requirements. Honored students also get a certificate.
