Please join NCIP on Thursday, March 20th for “Experts in the Courtroom: Problems and Suggested Solutions,” a special presentation by Dr. Itiel Dror, a world-renowned expert on cognitive bias. Dr Dror is a neuroscientist whose research focuses on expert performance in the real world. He has conducted training workshops on decision-making for numerous law enforcement agencies, including NYPD, LAPD, and the British Ministry of Defense and completed several projects for the Department of Justice and the FBI. Dr. Dror will be joining us to discuss the different types of psychological contaminations that may affect experts in the criminal justice system and offer some solutions for the problem.
