While a third-year law student, Gloria Killian was arrested and convicted of a robbery and murder she did not commit, and even faced the death penalty for the crimes. She steadfastly maintained her innocence, but was convicted and spent 16 years in a California State prison before her exoneration in 2002. How did this happen? Killian will explain, and talk about her life in prison. She’ll also share her struggle for freedom, her ultimate exoneration, and what she’s been up to since her release.
