“Trafficked in America” film and panel discussion with Lynette Parker and Ruth Silver-Taube
Lynette Parker and Ruth Silver-Taube will be part of a panel discussion on human trafficking after a showing of "Trafficked in America" a film about Guatemalan teens who were forced to work on an Ohio egg farm. The event is organized by the South Bay Coalition to End Human Trafficking, and will take place 6:00 pm on Friday, September 7 at the Santa Clara County Building. Register online here.

Sustained Action: Addressing Bias in the Civil Justice System
One year ago, the Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center hosted a panel discussion with Che Hashim regarding the impact of racial bias on the civil justice system. Since that presentation, Mr. Hashim has led a task force dedicated to the eradication of implicit bias.
