Sustained Action: Addressing Bias in the Civil Justice System

Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center Speaker Series

One year ago, the Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center hosted a panel discussion with Che Hashim regarding the impact of racial bias on the civil justice system. Since that presentation, Mr. Hashim has led a task force dedicated to the eradication of implicit bias. In this one-hour presentation, Mr. Hashim will describe the ways his organization works to address racial bias and improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in civil litigation.

CLE credit: 1 hour elimination of bias.

Che Hashim CHE L. HASHIM

Che L. Hashim is a San Francisco native and solo trial attorney, having tried 16 cases to jury. He is on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and co-chairs its Task Force for the Elimination of Implicit Bias.
