The California Minority Counsel Program is seeking volunteers for its 19th Annual Business Conference to assist with day of event activities such as attendee registration and general logistics support.

This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in the legal profession to meet and greet law firm owners, general counsel from major corporations (such as Clorox, AT&T, PG&E, Bank of America to name a few) and attorneys from public agencies such as the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office.

CMCP’s mission is to promote diversity in the California legal field. This is your chance to be on the cutting edge and see the latest developments in the field regarding diversity and legal practice while meeting some influential people in the industry.

CMCP’s 19th Annual Business Conference will take place October 16-17th at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco. We are seeking volunteers for the following positions:

1. Ambassadors

Meet, greet and direct attorneys on where to go; traffic control

2. Session Coordinators

Introduce speakers, check session room set-up, attendee head-counts, remind attendees to collect and complete evaluations.

3. Registration Coordinators

4. Exhibitor Coordinators

Students who would like to volunteer at this event should contact Nishan Ardon at cmcpcoord1@cmcp.org or at 415-782-8931.
