California Civil Procedure

Course Description:
Designed to introduce students to the actual workings of the California civil system. The procedures attendant on the litigation process from considerations prior to the filing of a complaint through the drafting of pleadings, motions, various discovery devices, trial-setting procedures, and procedures during and after trial.
Class Notes:
Attendance is mandatory. Reading assignment for first class posted online. Professor tapes each class and posts recordings on I-Tunes University. Professor is willing to have a student tape a class with the permission of the professor for personal use only. Professor will provide class notes and slides.
