SCU School of Law gathered in Adobe Lodge for the annual holiday party on Thursday, December 6th. A crowd of almost 150 ate, drank, celebrated and spread good cheer. As in past years, one of the highlights of the party was professor and former dean, Jerry Uelmen playing his accordion so the jovial group could enjoy singing some traditional carols. The caroling was ably led by Professor Tyler Ochoa.

Dean Donald Polden took the opportunity to thank law school faculty and staff for their hard work. "The law school is fortunate to have a talented and dedicated group of faculty and staff and I wish all of them a very happy and healthy holiday season." Dean Polden also recognized representatives of other campus departments who attended and thanked them for their ongoing support of the law school throughout the year.

In addition to the holiday party, the law school hosted two other celebratory events the first week of December: the Swearing-In ceremony (co-sponsored with the Santa Clara County Bar) for new admittees to the State Bar and a reception for the School of Law’s December graduates.
