The Fall 2008 issue of Santa Clara Law, a biannual magazine published by Santa Clara University School of Law for alumni and friends of the law school, has received the 2009 Bronze Award of Excellence in Special Constituency Magazines from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VII. CASE District VII represents institutions in the western region of the United States (Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah).

Winners are recognized at the Awards Luncheon held in conjunction with the CASE District VII Conference on Monday, November 16, at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero in San Francisco.

"We are proud of our alumni magazine. It is one of the primary ways we communicate with our key audiences, and we hear from alumni and friends that they value the publication greatly,” says Julia Yaffee, Senior Assistant Dean for External Relations, who oversees the publication of Santa Clara Law. "We have a small but dedicated team working on this project, and I am proud of the great progress we have made in developing compelling content and stimulating design. It is very gratifying to receive this recognition.”

Santa Clara Magazine, published by Santa Clara University Office of Marketing and Communications, won numerous awards this year as well.
