Members of Gray’s Inn, London “Moot” SCU Law Students

Members of Gray’s Inn, London recently visited the School of Law and "mooted" against two of Santa Clara’s students. The moot took place in the Adobe Lodge before the William A. Ingram Inn of Court. Santa Clara’s mooters were Brian Raft and Scott Mangum. The moot, which explored some of the differences between promissory estoppel in the U.S. and the U.K., was set before the House of Lords and was done in the English style – "M’Lord," etc. Professor Bob Peterson then toured the Gray’s Inn team around some of the California sights including Big Sur, Big Basin Park, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco.
