David Ball spoke to KTVU-SF about a proposed gun ordinance in San Jose after the recent VTA shooting in the city.
“We already do pay for gun violence. It’s just a question of who picks up the tab. It makes sense to me to actually remove the public funding of the social safety net as regards the harms of gun violence, rather than pick somewhere else to do it, like public schooling.”
