Congratulations to the 2023 Galloway Criminal Moot Court competition winners Jennifer Stukenberg & Hanchel Cheng.
The final of the competition was held on February 21 in front of a packed room.
Runners-up were Simone Wolberg & Ajit Bhullar, Best Oral Advocate was Simone Wolberg, and the Best Brief Award went to Andrey Volkov and Alexander Mangum.
The Galloway Criminal Moot Court program (“Galloway”) is the only moot court program offered at Santa Clara University for first-year law students. Galloway is an exciting opportunity for first-year students to hone their legal writing, practice oral advocacy skills, and introduce themselves to the world of moot court competitions.
The volunteer judges were Justice Nathan Mihara, Justice Patricia Manoukian, and Mr. Jerry Nastari.
Our volunteer coaches supporting our competitor teams during the competition were: Alisha Hacker, Christian Lustre, Donovan Coolbaugh, MacKenzie LeMunyan, Nick Vardeh, Priyasundari Natarajan, and Ruben Souza-Marquez.
