Fun at the Law Alumni Mixer in San Jose, Dec. 2022

There is no place like home for the holidays, and Santa Clara University School of Law commenced this season of celebration with a Thursday evening mixer on December 8. With string lights glistening above District San Jose, alumni from a wide span of class years joined in the gift of cherished company.

Complimentary beverages and appetizers kept the merriment going through the evening as alums mingled with their peers. Conversations across the three-hour gathering included icebreakers about favorite holiday songs and recounts of law school endeavors during 1L year. “It was a real treat to meet fellow Broncos in person to celebrate the holiday season,” said Parminder Sandhu J.D. ’16. “There are Santa Clara Law alumni in a diverse array of practice areas, firms, and companies, and events like this are a tremendous way to make new connections. I look forward to more upcoming events with the Santa Clara Law alumni community.” A raffle capped off the night, as Matthew “Matt” Kenefick J.D. ’03 won a limited edition School of Law fleece-lined blanket.

“The soul of our Santa Clara institution has always been and remains our alums,” said Thi Tran J.D. ’21, Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving. “Every holiday season, our presence alongside one another is what makes the magic happen. Gatherings such as tonight are opportunities for both personal and professional growth.”
