Mary Procaccio-Flowers
Adjunct Lecturer

Mary Procaccio-Flowers started at Santa Clara Law as an adjunct lecturer in 2019, teaching a course in patent and trade secret litigation. From Fall 2020 to Fall 2024, Mary served on the faculty full-time, teaching among other courses, Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing; Evidence; IP Litigation; and Advocacy. Starting in spring 2025, Mary transitioned into an adjunct role to teach Jury Law and Comparative Jury Systems, and other courses.

Mary worked in private practice at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, representing technology companies in intellectual property litigation before federal, state, and appellate courts, as well as the International Trade Commission. Mary also regularly advised companies regarding the impact of intellectual property and intellectual property litigation on a variety of corporate transactions.

As an associate, Mary co-chaired the firm’s Associates Committee and served on the Hiring and Education Committees. While in private practice, Mary represented several pro bono clients, including individuals seeking asylum and conservation organizations in environmental litigation.

In 2019 and 2020, Mary served as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. In January 2025, Mary rejoined the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to serve as a full-time career law clerk.

Before attending law school, Mary taught elementary and junior high school.
