Sonya Chalaka

Sonya Chalaka teaches Appellate Advocacy and is a recent graduate of Santa Clara Law. 

As a law student, she directed the Honors Moot Court Internal and Galloway Moot Court Programs, guiding students through all facets of appellate advocacy. She also competed on the Trial Team and in HMCE, HMCI, and Galloway. 

Sonya has a background in health science and litigation, and works as an Attorney with the California Department of Managed Health Care’s (DMHC) litigation unit.
