Sharine Xuan is a California licensed attorney and the founder of Elevate Community Center, a Santa Clara County legal aid organization. She graduated from Santa Clara University of Law with her law degree and a Social Justice and Public Interest Certificate. Sharine regularly represents clients in Santa Clara, Alameda, and San Mateo County on issues of domestic violence, tenant rights, criminal record clearance, elder abuse, and other areas of civil litigation. In addition to her role as Executive Director of Elevate Community Center, Sharine is a Commissioner for Santa Clara County’s Re-Entry Committee, as well as a Commissioner for Santa Clara County’s Community Correction Law Enforcement Monitoring Committee.
