Pav currently serves as Head of Legal and Compliance at LILT, Inc., an AI-driven translation technology company, while also serving as Board Member at Staffeto, a data integration SaaS startup, and maintaining his role as an Adjunct Professor at Santa Clara Law School.
His career spans over two decades in technology law, with expertise in artificial intelligence, security, intellectual property, and complex commercial transactions. Prior to LILT, Pav built and led legal departments at several prominent technology companies. At Nexthink, a unicorn startup, he was the Head of Legal and built a high performing legal team. At Juniper Networks, he established the New Product Introduction (NPI) program, managing legal compliance for 25+ product lines, while handling IP matters and technology transactions.
Earlier in his career at Raytheon Applied Signal Technology, he single-handedly built a licensing division that grew to represent 40% of company profits. Beyond his corporate roles, Pav founded Hyperion Legal, APC, providing specialized legal services to clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. He brings this wealth of practical experience to his teaching, focusing on technology licensing and SaaS transactions at Santa Clara Law, ranked 4th nationally for IP law.
A certified cybersecurity professional (ISC2 CC) and registered patent attorney, Pav remains active in various bar associations and mentorship programs. When not navigating complex tech deals or teaching future lawyers, he’s an avid reader, hip-hop enthusiast, and dedicated supporter of Sikh community organizations.
