Professor Sohi teaches first-year Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing (LARAW) and is a faculty member in the Office of Academic & Bar Success. He advises first-year and Directed Study students on a range of issues, including transitioning to the law school learning environment, effective study strategies, and exam-writing. As a part of the faculty in the Office of Academic & Bar Success, Professor Sohi also helps prepare students for the California Bar Exam.
Prior to joining the Santa Clara Law faculty, Professor Sohi practiced civil litigation for 14 years, specializing in complex commercial litigation and most recently public entity litigation as Deputy County Counsel for the Contra Costa County Counsel’s Office. He also has taught Legal Research, Writing and Moot Court as an adjunct professor at UC Hastings College of the Law.
