Jeff Hyman is CEO of LWD Advisors, Inc., a Legal, HR and Business consulting firm focused on emerging growth companies.  Prior to founding LWD Advisors, Jeff held legal and business executive roles at leading Silicon Valley companies including Intel, Apple, Google and Pebble, the Palo Alto-based pioneer of the smart watch industry.  Jeff started his legal career as a litigation attorney with Cooley in Palo Alto.  

Throughout his career, Jeff has volunteered thousands of hours in pro bono legal service through organizations like AIDS Legal Services, the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley and Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County.  In recognition of his pro bono work and leadership, Jeff was awarded the Equal Justice Award by the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley and the Dorothy M Wolfe Award by the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County.

Jeff was born and raised in San Francisco, completed his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Politics from the University of California Santa Cruz, and earned his law degree from Santa Clara University’s School of Law, where he currently serves on the faculty as an Adjunct Professor teaching Legal Issues of Startup Businesses.
