Dhruv joined the Santa Clara Law faculty in 2021 as an Adjunct Professor of Law teaching Tech Licensing. Prior to beginning his teaching career, Dhruv attended Santa Clara University School of Law, where he graduated with a JD/MBA and was a member of the school’s Law Review (Vol. 51). After graduation, Dhruv worked as a Corporate Associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith before moving to the Bay Area to work in-house at a Series B startup called SquareTrade. A year after SquareTrade was acquired by Allstate, Dhruv accepted a position to work at Box, handling commercial transactions and data privacy for the cloud content provider. In 2019, Dhruv accepted a position at Google, where he continues to work and handle complex technology transactions for Google Cloud.
