We had some VIPs in the NCIP class yesterday! As part of our module on eyewitness misidentification, NCIP law students served as jurists in a mock trial that demonstrated how compelling an eyewitness can be to a jury—even if there are inconsistencies or errors in his or her testimony. Assistant Dean of SCU Law Diversity Programs Jeanette Leach played the witness in the trial, former Santa Clara County DA and NCIP volunteer attorney Karyn Sinunu Towery played the prosecutor, and SCU Law Professor Ellen Kreitzberg played the defense attorney. Thanks ladies for your participation and excellent acting!
