Veritas researchers found that from 2004-2008, Arizona courts found prosecutorial misconduct in 20 cases. Fifteen of the cases were deemed harmless, meaning the court ruled the misconduct would not have affected the outcome of the case. Only three prosecutors were disciplined in Arizona during that same time period, but those disciplinary actions did not include any of the 20 cases of misconduct found.

The event is scheduled for 6:00pm at the Phoenix School of Law. Other panelists will include Ray Krone, an Arizona exoneree, a former judge and former U.S. Attorney along with an ethics professor and defense lawyer. For more information, read the article in The Crime Report.
