The Local Human Rights Lawyering Project holds regular webinars to introduce legal aid attorneys to the Human Rights in the U.S. Handbook. The August 2013 webinar will focus on the Immigration sections of our Human Rights in the U.S. Handbook for Legal Aid Attorneys. Lynsay Gott, Immigration Consultant for the Local Human Rights Lawyering Project and Associate Attorney with WMR Immigration Law Group in Washington, D.C., will lead the webinar and discuss how to formulate human rights arguments for U.S. courts and policymakers focusing on representing immigrants and typical legal services cases related to immigrants’ rights.
