Attend a Career Fair

OCM hosts several annual on-campus “meet the employers” career fairs/table talk events, which allow students and employers to meet and talk directly with each other. Employers, to register for any of these events, contact our front desk at Sponsorship is available. Students, to RSVP to attend, contact or check the weekly newsletters for RSVP information.

  • Public Interest Career & Information Fair: This Fall event (usually in November) allows employers to get the word out early about their organization and potential summer and full-time opportunities. Students find this table talk event especially informative to meet the public interest community in Silicon Valley and the overall Bay Area. Many of the employer attendees also participate in PI/PS Day, the Bay Area’s largest public interest/public sector day career fair sponsored by the Northern California Consortium of Law Schools and held in San Francisco each year (usually in late January or early February).
  • High Tech Career Fair: This Spring career fair (usually in February) is part of the law school’s annual IP Week activities. Employers who are looking for law students interested in high tech careers, some of whom have technical backgrounds, should attend this popular event! Students, this is an excellent event to meet some of the Valley’s top firms and organizations that specialize in high tech work.
  • Meet the OCI Employers Tabling Event: This Spring event (usually in March/April) allows employers the opportunity to meet our students in an informal setting prior to on campus interviews. It is a chance for employers to tell students about their organization and for students to make a connection with employers in person.

Other Hiring Fairs: Check your email and the weekly OCM newsletter for information on how to register for these annual Hiring Fairs.
