Santa Clara Law professor, Ellen Kreitzberg, played an important role in producing California’s official jury orientation video.
Serving as the primary informational video that anyone who is called in for Jury Service will see for the next decade and will be viewed by literally millions of potential jurors, the video provides an overview of the juror experience, including the jury selection process, the trial, jury deliberations, and the verdict. While this video was designed specifically for viewing in jury assembly rooms to help courts prepare jurors for this important civic duty, it also serves as a valuable public education tool on the essential role that jurors serve in our justice system.
