Global events often directly impact U.S. immigration policy and the governmental agencies and lawyers working in the area, frequently resulting in the need for emergency immigration relief. Two of the most recent events are occurring in Afghanistan, due to military and political upheaval, and Haiti, due to political upheaval and environmental disaster. Join us to hear from attorneys working to represent individuals fleeing these crises and ways you may be able to help.

Co-sponsored by the Center for Social Justice, the Immigration Law Society,
and the Middle Eastern Law Students Association
