Michael Lee is a California State Bar Certified Specialist in Bankruptcy Law and working group member on the California Board of Legal Specialization. In addition to California, Michael is also a licensed attorney in the State of Wyoming and the District of Columbia.

In private practice, Michael focuses on debtor side bankruptcy law, estate and trust planning, along with complex domestic and international estate tax. Michael’s teaching and research interests include bankruptcy law, debtor-creditor rights, trust law, estate & gift taxation, and comparative law.

Outside of law, Michael is married to a fellow Santa Clara Law graduate, and is the father of a son and daughter. He is active in the San Jose Rotary club, a ‘room parent’ for his children’s school, involved in various other bay area charitable activities.
