Colette Rausch JD ’90: The Threats Serious Crimes Pose to Peace

Colette RauschColette Rausch JD ’90  looks at how violent extremism, political violence, organized crime, and corruption fuel conflict. She discusses her new book, Fighting Serious Crimes: Strategies and Tactics for Conflict-Affected Societies. Rausch is Associate Vice President at the U.S. Institute of Peace. She looks at real-world examples from 20 countries—Yemen to Somalia, Afghanistan to Colombia. In an age of political turmoil, she offers important lessons and insights.

Ms. Rausch’s book may be purchased soon at the SCU Campus Bookstore. She will be available for book-signing at the conclusion of the event.
