Professor Uelman credited for iconic Simpson trial quote

Jerry Uelmen was revealed in a CNN Anderson Cooper 360 story about the OJ Simpson trial 20 years later, as the originator of the famous Johnnie Cochran line “if it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.” Defense counsel Alan Dershowitz said “20 years later, he’s getting the credit.” Uelmen also was mentioned in the Los Angeles Times about a judge’s decision to hold an evidentiary hearing on marijuana law.
