Santa Clara University School of Law Assistant Dean for Law Career Services, Vicki Huebner is serving as the 2007-2008 Trans Team Chair for the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division of the American Bar Assoication.  She was named to this postion at the recent ABA Annual Meeting in San Francisco.

Dean Huebner received her appointment from Division Chair, Keith B. McLennan of Collegeville, Pa., who said, "The leaders and members of the General Practice and Small Firm Division provide the support and structure for this ABA division as evidenced by the high quality of its programs, publications and periodicals. As Chair of the Trans Team, Vicki Huebner will serve an important role in the Division."

As one of the fastest growing components of the American Bar Association,the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division represents more than 30,000 members throughout the United States, most of who are in the private practice oflaw. The Division’s 70 committees serve it and its members by providing information, education and networking opportunities, while ensuring that the Division carries out its mission of support to America’s Main-Street lawyers.

In addition to her work at Santa Clara University School of Law, Huebner is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the California Bar Association and American Bar Associations. Vicki earned both her JD, cum laude, and BA degrees from Brigham Young University in Utah. Prior to entering the career services profession, Vicki practiced law in Huntington Beach, California and served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ronald M. Holdaway of the United States Court of Veterans Appeals in Washington, DC. She is licensed to practice law in California.
