DEADLINE FOR 2019 APPLICATIONS: 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019

Women & Law is dedicated to promoting the efforts and successes of women in the legal field.  Our organization seeks to enhance the law school experience by supporting our members through networking opportunities, community service projects, and meaningful educational enrichment.

For 2019, we will award four $1490 scholarships to members in good standing (i.e. those who have paid dues) who have demonstrated the ideals of Women & Law.  The recipients will be chosen by a Scholarship Committee comprised of Women & Law Board Members and a University representative from the Law Office of Alumni Relations. Women & Law Scholarship Application

  • Fill out the form below and answer all the questions. It will ask for some resume information (your name, class level, GPA, and any work or volunteer experience that you would list on any other resume) and a personal statement.
  • Your personal statement should be no more than 500 words and discuss your merits as they relate to Women & Law. Possible topics include (but are not limited to): how your work or volunteer experience has contributed to the ideals of Women & Law, any personal or professional contributions to the community, your future plans to further your impact on the community and the ideals of Women & Law. You do not need to show financial need to be awarded the scholarship, but if your financial need is relevant to the aforementioned topics, you may include an explanation thereof.
  • You must complete and submit the form by March 15, 2019 at 6pm. Recipients will be notified after they are selected.
  • The recipients shall be chosen and notified no later than April 15, 2019.
