Remedies

Course Description:

An overview of the remedial system and its relationship to civil litigation. The first half of the course establishes the basic principles underlying damages, equity, and restitution. The second half compares and contrasts those remedies in specific contexts such as trespass, franchise agreements, copyright and trademark infringement, and civil rights cases.
