Santa Clara Law congratulates Ruth Silver Taube, who will receive the “Promoting Justice” Award from the San Francisco Bay Area Office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations on October 27, 2018. This award is intended to recognize an individual or organization whose work has helped achieve justice for the American Muslim and broader community.
She is receiving the award for her efforts to protect workers of all faiths, which has been instrumental in preventing and remedying discrimination for many years. Her work on wage theft, including individual remedies, legislative advocacy and grassroots campaigns has changed the landscape in the Silicon Valley.
