Ruth Silver Taube was recognized by San Jose City Councilmember Don Rocha at the December 11 City Council meeting. In a Facebook post, Councilmember Rocha described Ms. Silver Taube as “a San Jose hero for her outstanding efforts in curbing wage theft and labor trafficking through her work with the Santa Clara County Wage Theft Coalition and the South Bay Coalition To End Human Trafficking. She wears many more hats in the community and I don’t know how she does it, but San Jose is all the better for it”. Read more.
