On February 26, 2020, Professor Donald Polden, a national expert on leadership education and training for lawyers and law students, lectured on lawyer-leadership to more than one hundred U.S. Army lawyers at the Judge Advocate General (JAG) School of the U.S. Army in Charlottesville Virginia. His lecture was part of a new leadership course and program at the JAG School and Polden discussed the Army Leadership Model and how it applies to military attorneys.

Polden also serves as Director of Santa Clara Law’s Institute for Lawyer Leadership and teaches a leadership for lawyers course at the law school.
