The Catholic Press Association has recognized a profile of John Cruden JD ’74 with a First Place award. The article, written by Justin Gerdes and published in the Spring 2017 issue of Santa Clara Magazine, was chosen Best Personality Profile of a Government Leader as part of CPA’s 2018 Catholic Press Awards. From 1995 to 2011, Cruden served as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He is currently a Principal in the Washington, D.C. office of Beveridge & Diamond P.C.
