Deep Gulasekaram discussed legal issues raised by Trump’s immigration policies in a variety of news outlets

Deep Gulasekaram was in great demand to discuss the legal issues raised by the Trump Administration’s “zero tolerance” immigration policies and the separation of families at the border. He was the lone guest for an extended KQED Forum show, discussing Trump’s immigration policies and the U.S. asylum process. He also was on KPCC’s AirTalkshow discussing how California Republicans might influence immigration votes, and was quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle, ABC7 News, and Al Jazeera. A  Reuters story quoting him about Trump’s executive order halting family separation also ran in Global News Online, The Wire and 43 other outlets. He was quoted in the Santa Cruz Sentinel and GOPUSA about sanctuary laws in California.
