Orientation
Congratulations, you've been admitted to SCU Law so what is the next step? Before your first day of law school, you need to make sure that you are in good standing with the SCU Office of Registrar. Once your account has been cleared and you are flagged as a registered student, your online resource identity and accounts will be generated. SCU IT will be creating all relevant SCU system accounts and you will be alerted at least one or two months before SCU Law Fall Orientation. In the event that you have not received any email notification to complete your SCU Online accounts by mid July, then inquire with the SCU bursars office or contact SCU Onestop to receive help.
During SCU Law Orientation week, a Law Technology Support staff mentioned the essentials:
Complete the SCU ACP (Account Claims Process)
SCU email or ID is needed for: Eduroam (WiFi); MySCU (Student Portal), Camino (Canvas), Room reservations, MyPrint Center, etc.
NOTE: For campus preferred WiFi, Clearpass ONGuard is not required but make sure you have an antivirus app, and of course, please keep up with your computer OS security updates. For your MySCU portal home screen, If the Office 365 tile is missing, then inquire with main IT Service center, 408-554-5700 or via email at techdesk@scu.edu.
