Paws, People, and Purpose: A Joyful Day of Giving at Santa Clara Law
On April 23rd, our law school community came together for Day of Giving (DoG), Santa Clara University's annual giving event, which for the law school was equal parts generous and joyful. Thanks to the incredible support of alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends, we raised over $400,000—all of which will directly support student scholarships, student programs, and innovative academic initiatives. The law school raised more than any other school at SCU this Day of Giving.
Just as we did last year, we welcomed dogs on campus, turning the atrium into a space full of cute critters for our law community (especially for the students cramming for finals). Whether it was therapy dogs providing stress relief or community members bringing their own pups, the atmosphere was one of pure joy and connection. Adding even more fun to the festivities were caricature artists, who gifted people and critters portraits for the attendees.
This year's Day of Giving was a reminder that when our community comes together, amazing things happen. Thank you to everyone who gave, participated, and made April 23rd such a memorable and impactful day.
