High Tech Excellence Award Policy
(as amended Fall 2012)
The “High Tech Excellence Award” recognizes excellent academic performance in the high tech curriculum. Students (including JD and LLM students) who earn an A- or better in three or more qualifying courses in a single academic year (fall to summer) earn the award for that academic year. Courses that count towards the High Tech Law Certificate qualify for the High Tech Excellence Award; except that if a course counts only for an HTLC specialization but otherwise doesn’t count towards the HTLC (typically, these courses are listed as “HTLC XYZ Specialization Only”), it doesn’t count towards the High Tech Excellence Award. Students may earn the award only once per academic year.
Students do not need to apply for the award. We automatically identify students who have met the high tech excellence award requirements. Students are notified via email. The award will be listed on the students' transcript.
