PIJD students recognized for Pro Bono Hours

Each year, the Center for Social Justice recognizes students who complete at least 50 hours of pro bono service during the academic year.

The Public Interest JD Program is proud to celebrate the dedication of our students to serving the community through pro bono work. Each year, the Center for Social Justice recognizes students who complete at least 50 hours of pro bono service during the academic year. This year, 13 Santa Clara Law students received this distinction.

We are especially proud that two PIJD students earned the Center for Social Justice's highest pro bono honors. Caitlin Strickland was named Pro Bono Graduating Student of the Year after contributing an impressive 233 hours of service, while Trinity Chung was recognized as Pro Bono Student of the Year for completing an extraordinary 342 hours of pro bono work.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Center for Social Justice for recognizing and celebrating the commitment of our students to advancing access to justice and serving those in need.
